Andy Douglas is a writer, musician and activist living in Iowa. He has led workshops on "Singing as a Spiritual Practice." His first book was a memoir about yoga; he's currently writing a book about singing with prisoners.



Kali Wale Amen is a songwriter, musician and producer who has performed across the country and internationally. He currently performs with the Amandla Band out of Hartford, CT whose debut album, PowerLink was released in 2013. 


Michael Lohr is a professional musician and music journalist. He is a member of several music organizations and votes for various yearly honors, from the televised Country Music Association (CMA) awards and selected Grammy awards to Great Britain’s World Music Awards. To learn more go here
